Sunday 19th October 11am Adamsrill School are holding a kids sponsored fun run around Mayow park to raise money for Dreams Come True children's charity .
We do have a park keeper, thanks to the contract Lewisham renegotiated with Glendale a year or so back, and we also have a respected group of dog walkers who in turn respect the interests of other park users.
Is there a charity/fundraising group for Mayow Park? Does anyone manage a programme of events that are held there? I'd be interested in getting involved.

I've been handing out these leaflets in the park, inviting people to come to a picnic next Sunday - and some may be coming through your letter boxes. Unfortunately, we don't have enough to leaflet as widely as we would like.
We've got 600 of these leaflets A5 size about the official opening and Community picnic with the cricketers Sunday 31st printed. Not enough, I know, so I'm thinking about how to get maximum impact from them. I'm thinking of handing them to people in person in the park ...
