Sports News From The Dolphin

The sun is shining and inevitably thoughts turn to cricket. One minor team change this year is our rebranding as the mightily impressive 'Triple D's (the slightly dodgy 'Double D's' now thankfully a thing of the past). With two new recruits from the internationally acclaimed Duke in Deptford ...

Gingerbread Village - at The Dolphin

Strategic team changes? Ringers? Terrible accusations! In fact we fielded a team with just two changes from the last game, one of which was that there were only ten of us. And don't forget, this time you had the multi-talented club player Lamb Chops. With his power batting, spin bowling, match ...

Well I did my bit to help Sydenham Town by dropping two fairly easy catches and letting a few boundaries past but thanks to our batsmen (who was that guy Hugh anyway?) the Double D's pulled it off again. Thank you everyone for another great night and to Barry and Mike for organising it all.

Ready and Waiting

A statement on behalf of The Dartmouth Arms & The Dolphin Despite scurrilous rumours to the contrary from a cleary rattled opposition I can confirm that the 'Double Ds' will field an impressive full strength team on Tuesday. Competition for places has been fierce and feedback from the nets so far ...
