Gingerbread Village - at The Dolphin

Post by TDA »

This Christmas the owners and friends of The Dolphin have combined forces to design, build and bake a model of the village of Lower Sydenham entirely from Gingerbread. With a church, pub (The Dolphin of course), garage, school, manor house and several houses all packed with sweets these are without doubt now the most desirable properties in SE26. A mixture of Sydenham Gateway, Sydenham Town Museum and Gallery and the Brothers Grimm, the village will be on display from December 7th before being raffled off building by building on 21st December. All proceeds will go to the Teenage Cancer Trust so please buy lots of tickets (on sale at the pub). Please feel free to drop in at any time (after midday) for a look - and bring the family.
