Sounds brilliant! I will also be booking up. I have always thought the Blue Mountain/Sugarhill/Kente should be open in the evenings particularly as they have the set up already and could easily capitalise on a demand for more places to go in the evenings. Domali's in CP is a good example of how it can work between being open in the day and also the evening.

Hopefully if these are successful it can become a regular event! Lets hope there will also be some pop-up's in the summer in the pocket squares too. That would be great :D

Many thanks to those that have booked already! They are going to be fabulous, fun evenings. For those who don't know me, I'm working with the Pop Goes Sydenham team to coordinate the supperclubs and other food events in June - make sure you also have 13 June in your diaries for a community evening at The Dolphin, with street food traders (more info to follow!).

The supperclubs start this weekend - Friday and Saturday - with the hugely talented chef Alan Stewart. He''s developed an exciting menu using local produce, meat from The Butchery in SE23, and smoked goods from Peckham (vegetarians catered for too, of course!). You can book tickets here http://grubclub.com/pop-goes-sydenham

Hope to see you there! :D

Hello!

Thank you all for your support of the supperclubs so far - I'm delighted to say that Yummy Choo on 14 June has *almost* sold out (get in quick for the final tickets)

Before then, however, we have the wonderful Kitchen Disco - there are a few tickets remaining for this Friday and Saturday. It's an exciting modern British menu, featuring meat and produce from local suppliers. I'll be there!

Thanks :)

Hello -

I hope you are all having a good weekend.

The supperclub series has completely sold out - I'm working on more events to add, and will keep you informed. In the meantime, we have some lovely shots from last night's Kitchen Disco dinner - enjoy :D

More photos!

We held a wonderful Mauritian supperclub at the Blue Mountain Cafe on Friday night - it was a lovely, relaxed evening filled with great people and delicious food. You can see some photos here http://on.fb.me/10mUc6Q

I am working with chefs and venues to organise more! One date to save for your diary is the last weekend of June - I've been working with my friends at Original Fry-Up Material (local lads, and they make everything by hand) and the beautiful Alexandra Nurseries to bring you all-day brunches. Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 June at Alexandra Nurseries SE20 7LJ from 10am. Hope to see you there :D
