Lower Sydenham Train Station

Is anyone else frustrated but the number of courier vans using the road around Lower Syd as a car park - dodging them is a daily trial and I have contacted the council once and they said it was the train stations duty to fix - I am not sure that would be the case as it surely is a public road?

They used to have a traffic warden / lolly pop Dude who used to Marshall the traffic coming in and out of the place but have not seen him for ages, only a matter of time before someone gets run over unfortunately.

Totally agree, they drive WAY to fast and don't pay any attention to the road and people entering the station....I guess on the part of the parking it should be the station, but its the speed that they drive around that they really need to address, and that should be the council?

Which side of the station are you discussing here?
Is it the kangley Bridge Road side that I know or the other side (from Worsley bridge road)?
I am at a loss to understand where you are talking about!

I mean the Kangley Bridge Road side. There is NB Couriers which regularly has all there vans out in the street driving around too fast and generally disregarding people - also noticed lots of odd smelling cigarettes that way too - plus 2 young employees drinking beer on the wall all the time - assuming they just finished a night shift because its too early to drink at 0715
