Snow!?

I'm pretty sure that everyone knew the snow was on it's way, however Ive not seen any salt or grit on our roads? There was plenty of notice and don't understand why the council has not done this?

There is definitely some pink grit on the roads but I haven't seen much on the pavements, unlike Beckenham which is so liberally strewn with white road salt, it's like a winter wonderland before a flake has even fallen.

I've just (10.15pm) driven from Beckenham to upper Sydenham via Lennard Road. Main roads in LB Bromley fine, but snow lying quite thick on Kirkdale. Drivable with caution, but might be difficult in the morning if it keeps snowing.
