Went through Sydders on the bus the other day after a few years and noticed the Alfred boarded up...........about time too.

My personal opinion of course.

Wonder what will be built there. Something useful hopefully.

why "about time" ? are you aware of any issues or problems that originated there?

Wasn't my favourite pub, but there wasn't anything much wrong with it that I am aware of....

I hope it opens again and get put to good use. I'd hate to see it knocked down and some boring pile of blandless erected in it's dishonour.

It's a shame to close just after they repainted it, there were posters up saying they defaulted on the rent so perhaps another landlord can be found to take it on?
