would it be possible to display first few words of the first post in a thread just by hovering over the Topic title? So that I can easily identify which threads are of interest to me. Instead of having to go in to a thread to find it is of no interest and having to click the back button or other link to go back to the forum index page again.
Currently you have the hover active on some of the labels - so if you hover the mouse over the label, "Sydenham Town Forum", it displays a text bubble "Sydenham Town Forum Index"

We are limited by the software we use (PHPBB) which does many wonderful things but always has had an enormous wish list.

Or use our RSS feed with a suitable browser or mobile phone: http://sydenham.org.uk/forum/rss.php
I use these to quickly scan all the latest posts just in case there is something there that shouldn't be.
