Finding short term lets / accommodation in Sydenham

Hi,

We are going to be 'homeless' from the end of Febuary until the end of March as we are selling our flat but the purchase of our house won't coincide.

Does anyone have any ideas about short term lets in the area? The estate agents all have 6 month contract let properties. We only need a small studio or one bedroom flat.

We need to be in the area so we can get our son to nursary during that month, at the worst we could stay at family but they are right across in west london so the travel would be rather annoying.

Any pointers people might have would be muc appreciated.

Try www.gumtree.com, it lists short term lets all over london. You may have to keep an eye on it as it is updated daily.

I know Foxtons do short term lets but only as far east as Herne Hill. However, if you give them a call they might know who covers SE london.
