Forest Hill Library photographic exhibition
Entitled ‘The Bigger Picture’, 10 photographers based in Sydenham and Forest Hill display their work for the duration of the festival.
The Kirkdale Centre, 84 Kirkdale SE26 4BH: a fantastic exhibition of artists and craftspeople’s work, together with work by students from Community Education Lewisham (CEL). Please note: the Kirkdale Centre’s opening times are 10am-5pm (Sat July 4 & Sat July 11); 11am-5pm (Sun July 5). Refreshments available.
Normanton Street Methodist Church, Forest Hill SE23 2DS: an inspired exhibition of installations, ceramics, sculpture and pottery in the light and airy space of this beautiful new church. Refreshments available.
Havelock Walk Open Studios, Forest Hill SE23 3HG: the artists who live in the mews open their homes and studios to the public.
Open Studio: 108 Perry Hill SE6 4EY: artist, poet and photographer Anne-Marie Glasheen opens her studio for both weekends of the festival. Paintings, prints and ceramics.
Sydenham Garden Art & Craft Exhibition
Sunday July 5, 2-5pm; entrance in Holland Drive, off Queenswood Road; entry £3, children free (takings will go to the following charities: Marie Curie, MacMillan Nurses, Hospice Care and Caring for Carers)
Garden open under the National Garden Scheme, plus a fantastic exhibition of arts & crafts in the greenhouse. Plant sale, tea, coffee & cakes.

Marc Rosenfeld at 148 Sydenham Road; vibrant colours and interesting textures are a feature of Marc's paintings - see them this Sunday and next, 11-5pm.
Anne-Marie Glasheen, 108 Perry Hill. Anne-Marie is a painter, poet and photographer and her studio is open today & next weekend. She says: 'My images are "visual poems" often combining image and word: English and French, to reflect my dual heritage.' Why not visit her & then pop into the Perry Hill pub, where you can see the work of Audrey & Martin Hammond.
Plus: Havelock Walk Open Studios (including a play called 'Left Behind'); Arts & Crafts and a superb Open Garden at the Sydenham Garden (2-5pm, entry via Holland Drive off Queenswood Road); Sculpture, Painting and Ceramics at Normanton St Methodist church, SE23; and a wonderful exhibition at the Kirkdale Centre - 84 Kirkdale.
