Sydenham in the twenties, part 2.

Post by regoneil »

Thanks Steve, I am so pleased that the school is still active, I attended it from the age of three years until twelve years (1923-1933) and, without a doubt, that is where I got the bug for map reading and composing. We all had to draw the town as it was as "Cippingham" in its early days and as it was in the twenties. As you can guess, maps in one form or another, have been the centre of all my working life.

May I appeal to the person who contacted me recently, regarding the houses at the top of Burghill Road, to contact me again as unfortunately, I have lost his connection and, thanks to googlemaps street view, I am now able to answer his question. more precisely.
Thank you.
