Has anyone else seen the small naval boat manned by blue uniformed sailors and guarded by gnomes on the roundabout.

Cheers up a miserably ugly edifice beautifully! Maybe we should invite those with artistic flare to come up with other ideas for improving this eyesore -

Like the empty plinth in Trafalgar Square - excellent idea! :lol:

They've set sail for another port. What a shame.

(Perhaps the roundabout at Goose Green was more appealing because of the bars and restaurants in ED!!)

The day before yesterday a guy was riding a bike around in circles on top of the roundabout at around 10.30am,happy as aything.
