Bicycle thieves
A neighbour who lives in Radlet Avenue has told me that two children's bicycles were stolen from her back garden whilst they were away during half term. Apparently a group of boys were seen hanging around in the street on Monday evening and it is assumed that someone climbed over her side gate. A degree of planning seems to have been involved. She says that another Eliot Bank parent told her a bicycle had been stolen from Charlecote Grove at about the same time. She has agreed to my posting this message to warn others to keep their children's bikes secure.
Re: Bicycle thieves
Its no secret that bicycle thefts are a growing problem. Be careful with them! And take precautions, such as decent locks, security marking, hiding them from view and so on...Robin Orton wrote:A neighbour who lives in Radlet Avenue has told me that two children's bicycles were stolen from her back garden whilst they were away during half term. Re: Bicycle thieves
My flatmates and my bikes were both stolen from the outside of our place. Both were locked but thief had come prepared with bolt cutters so if they really want your bike there's not a lot you can do.
