Local Knowledge - Help Required Please Ref. Hall Drive Area

Hi - looking to move to Sydenham and would really appreciate help with some queries - replies either here or by Private Message would be great.
Have been advised that Hall Drive is a private road - is there a Residents Association and/or Management Company for the upkeep of this & do all residents have to pay towards the upkeep of the road, drains, grassed areas etc? Bit concerned about how much this may be on top of our potential mortgage.

I knew a few folks in the Crescent which has it's own set of rules and stuff. Sorry don't know anyone on the Drive itself.

I put an offer in on a flat there and was advised that houses paid a service charge but the flats didn't. However, there is no overnight parking allowed on the drive itself. The properties that pay the charges appear to have their own drives or garages.
