Good Food is coming to Sydenham

The fabulous Catford deli/grocery Good Food has announced it's opening a second store in Sydenham, taking over the old Ald Life unit at 26 Sydenham Road. The grand opening is planned for Friday 11 September.

It's so nice to have good news about businesses coming to the High Street! And it looks like it will complement what we already have, which is great.

I particularly like their eco-friendly approach with refills for rice, cleaning products etc. There are lots of these in out of town places, LOADS in Oxford, but lacking in London.

Hey Parker1970 (and any others!) although maybe generally lacking in London - perhaps more so due to lack of advertising? than actual places - there are actually a few not too* far from Sydenham - although be aware produce and prices do vary! Here is a list:
Beetroot and Beans - Forest Hill
Roots and Cycles - Crystal Palace
The Grain Store - Crystal Palace
Alexandra Stores - Clock House (only opened a few weeks ago)
