Lockdown Acting Challenge

Hi all

After the successful completion of our Lockdown Singing Challenge, we are thrilled to announce the launch of our third and final challenge - the Acting Challenge, open to local children and teenagers aged 4-18, you DO NOT have to be a student at TF Academy to enter!!

THE ACTING CHALLENGE
LAUNCHES: 22 JUNE 2020
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS: 13 JULY 2020
RESULTS ANNOUNCED: 17 JULY 2020

We’re delighted to have as our guest judge, established film and TV actress, Lorraine Stanley, who is currently playing the role of Karen Taylor in BBC Soap Opera, Eastenders. In 2018 she won a “Best Newcomer” at the Soap Awards for her portrayal of the character. Lorraine has also appeared in many films including London to Brighton, Legend, Suffragette and Made in Dagenham. We are absolutely thrilled to be working with her as a judge for our Acting Challenge.

All the information and instructions you need to enter, including suggested monologues and also poems, intended for our youngest entrants, 4-6 years, can be found here on the Lockdown Challenge page on our website.

We are continuing to raise money for NHS Charities Together this term, so once your child has completed their challenge, please support them and give generously to our Just Giving page on their behalf. We are currently at 65% of our target of £1000 and we’d love to reach 100%! Please help us if you are in a position to do so!
