Does anyone have any information and/or photos of the Electrical Resistance Co owned by the Winter family that was located in the Lewisham/Sydenham area in the 1930/40s? I'm not sure what it would have been called.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

This enquiry originated on another forum where the company was subsequently found in Berrymans Lane:-
Dimmers (1926) Ltd, L H Williams (Lillian Harriet, née Winter), Electrical Engineers, [Kelly's Sydenham & Forest Hill Directories, 1937-35, no mention there before 1937] and
Lowa Dimmers Ltd., Crown Works [London Classified Telephone Directory, 1939]
At the Sydenham Road end of Berrymans Lane, there is a gated area, now a motor works, I think. Could this have been the location of Crown Works? Maybe this further information may jog some memories.
