Hullo everyone
Apologies for the short notice. On Saturday, 13th October, there's a chance to walk right to the Easternmost end of the Green Chain Walk at Erith - 21 miles. Average walking pace of 3mph and a packed lunch are vital. The views and woodland are outstanding.
Start outside Crystal Palace railway station at 9am. Finish by the Thames at Erith - 6pm. Plenty of trains back home.
If you look back in Sydenham Town you'll see that this annual walk has been offered since 2007. Hundreds have taken part and everyone has thoroughly enjoyed it. Alas, I do expect a small donation for leading this but it's a thoroughly good day out.
