Jill Jackson joins us in the very impressive St Bartholomew’s Church, Westwood Hill, London SE26 6QR.
Following in the footsteps of Kathryn Williams, Romeo Stodart and last year’s Boo Hewerdine. A voice described as ‘reminiscent of the late, Karen Carpenter filled with emotion and honesty’. Paisley born, singer songwriter, Jill Jackson transports us into her world through music. Coming to us on the back of her fifth solo album (Produced by Boo Hewerdine) ‘Are We There Yet?’ combines innovative, playful arrangements that would not sound out of place in Lindy Hop, Harlem or the heart of the deep South. With an unabashed embrace of gleeful, melodic choruses, delivered in Jill’s unmistakable warm and heart-wrenching voice this promises to be another very special intimate gig.
