Hello,
I'm soon to be moving to Sydenham. What can I look forward to?
Thanks in advance.

Ignoring the photo, this recent Guardian article give a nice review on the area:

But there are many other things to look forward to:
- a good community
- lovely parks
- a useful high street
- excellent transport links
- a newly refurbished pub (coming soon!)

And this (yes, Sydenham is like the Hotel California):
