Why would you move?
Where to?
Where do you normally go out to eat, in Sydenham or elsewhere?
Where do you mostly shop? Online? Other places?
Where do you mostly go to eat or socialise?
Discuss.
If you moved from Sydenham, where would you go?
If you moved from Sydenham, where would you go?

Re: If you moved form Sydenham, where would you go?
- we're never moving again!
- n/a see above
- if we go out, we go out locally - last time was Hibagon, previously, Ghurkas
- Big Sainsbury, Co-Op, Lidl, other places as necessary, try to stay local if I can - online for other things, like the book club choice, or notonthehighstreet for interesting presents.
- socialising usually at someones house, or a local park - a necessity when you have a 19 month old child.

- we love it here so it won't be for a while, but eventually perhaps somewhere outside the M25 with a bigger garden
- normally in Sydenham or Forest Hill. Dulwich or central London occasionally
- sainsburys, lidl or penge aldi for food shopping, online for almost everything else
- Hibagon, 161 or Dulwich Woodhouse and we're on the FH border so the Perry Vale and C&C too

No intentions of moving. If we had to move it would depend on cicumstances: I can only imagine that would happen if our work locations changed.
Go out? With a small child it's local all the way. Tratorria Rafael, On The Hoof, Cherry and Ice and Westow House
Food shopping is Sainsbury's, Co-Op and Lidl with occasional stuff from Fresh and Fruity and Billings. Non-food wherever has what I want cheapest. Amazon, e-Bay, scetchy looking online stors, Ikea in Croydon

Re: If you moved form Sydenham, where would you go?
Just found this - I have moved, but I lurk from time to time to see what's happening with the Greyhound (was sad not to see it rebuilt before we went)
Why would you move?
I wanted to buy a family-sized house with a big garden and have a choice of excellent non-faith state schools for my children. Also life in London (noise, dirt, teenage stabbings, waiting 4 weeks for a GP appointment etc) was grinding me down. Sorry, I know that won't be a popular opinion on here!
Where to?
A small village in Hertfordshire
Where do you normally go out to eat, in Sydenham or elsewhere?
When we lived in Sydenham - 161 Food and Drink, Gurkhas, Lemon Tree, Cherry and Ice, Kente.
Where do you mostly shop? Online? Other places?
Sydenham - A mix of delivery (Abel & Cole), Billings, Aldi and Sainsburys. Kirkdale Bookshop, Penge Food Centre and Pound Plus. Charity shops. Clothes from the Keep Boutique in Brixton or online. Everything else online. I now shop in places that are pretty much the equivalent in the nearest town (Hitchin), local farm shops, the village stores and we have a really good market in Hitchin open every day.
Where do you mostly go to eat or socialise?
Sydenham - in Sydenham, Forest Hill or Crystal Palace with toddler in tow. Brixton or East London with friends. Now - Hitchin or North London.
