Sydenham Arts - Word Fair

Hi All,
From the 5th to the 15th of March Sydenham Arts presents WORD FAIR – the very first venture from Sydenham Arts, previously know as Sydenham Arts Festival. A ten day celebration of books, reading, the spoken word and poetry, it celebrates the best in local talent and brings some very special guests to this part of SE London.

From World Book Day (5 March) expect an incredible range of 21 events – performance poetry, prestigious author readings, new writing, storytelling for children and adults - and even an attempt to set a Guinness World Record to lay the longest continuous trail of Children's books along Sydenham High Street!

We are looking for enthusiastic people who could give as much time as you have available to become Festival Makers and help make this festival a roaring success! Most of the 21 events will require Festival Makers' support in a variety of roles, Such as Stewards, Box Office Staff and Photographers. In particular, we need as many helpers as possible to help us achieve the Guinness World Record on 8th March.
