Screen Sydenham @ Sydenham Arts Festival

Post by SydenhamFilmClub »

This year, for the first time, we've teamed up with Sydenham Arts Festival to offer a programme of films! In keeping with the Festival's overarching theme, we've aimed to provide a journey across the century of cinema since World War One. Join us 10-17 July to take this (admittedly very fragmented!) trip.

Highlights include FREE screenings and workshops, dinner and a movie at Trattoria Raffaelle (such a highlight in fact that it's already sold out!) and a director Q&A.

The programme
  • 7pm Thursday 10 July All Quiet on the Western Front (Lewis Milestone, 1930).
  • 7.30pm Friday 11 July at the Grove Centre Church: Sunset Boulevard (Billy Wilder, 1950). Book now
  • 1pm Saturday 12 July at Trattoria Rafaelle: Disney’s Lady and the Tramp (1955) - SOLD OUT
  • 7.30pm Monday 14 July at the Golden Lion: Hour of the Wolf (Ingmar Bergman, 1968). Book now
  • 7.30pm Tuesday 15 July at the Grove Centre Church: Farewell my Concubine (Chen Kaige, 1993). Book now
  • 7.30 Thursday 17 July at the Golden Lion: Treacle JR + Q&A (TBC) (Jamie Thraves, 2010). Book now
