Dear MODS, please note, I am not sellng anything.
Part of my job entails looking at historical maps of sites, to see what has occured in the locality over the years. There are many websites who offer this service, and doutless you are probably aware of this. However, I couldn't see this anywhere else in the forum, so thought the information may be useful.
Two sites which i use for getting maps and data are
www.landmarkinfo.co.uk/corp/index.jsp
and
www.groundsure.com
Landmark offer a comprehensive service and Groundsure appear to be cheaper and more forward-thinking. However, you get what you pay for, as with anything in life. (as a consultancy, we would always use Landmark). Maps start from around £10 and generally the earliest ones are from 1870's. You are very unlikely to get maps during periods of wartime.
If you want any further help/information, then you can PM me.
