Have I gone mental?

Can someone just confirm or deny something for me..
I noticed a lovely wall painted signage saying "kirkdale high street" on the way to work this morning on the side of a house opposite Wooster and stock (Halifax Street I think).
Has this always been here and I'm the least observant person ever or have I not gone mental and it's only just turned up.
Lovely stuff either way. Now to make the rest of Kirkdale high street as nice!

Not going mad, saw it being painted on Wednesday too, and it was halfway done yesterday Was it something that started with "Welcome to..."?
