Free speech and language therapy advice

Post by JMLF »

I'm planning on stationing myself in a different cafe every couple of weeks on a Sunday to offer any advice on speech and language to locals :)
I currently work with adults in a hospital setting but as part of my training (and outside) have had experience with children and found at times parents of children were unsure off where to go or if they should be concerned about their children for x, y or z.

Anyhow - I thought it may be of help to some to provide some basic advice or pointers as to where to get further information or a referral if necessary etc.

Be useful for a bit if feedback if anyone may find it useful/a good idea etc.

Will let you know where will be camping up next week Sunday with a brew.

There is a drop-in clinic with the Lewisham Speech & Language team at Sydenham Green Health Centre every Friday afternoon for children.

I found it a useful way into the system.
