New Zumbini Course Starting on 25th February at The Shala, a beautiful new venue recently opened in West Norwood.
Zumbini is a brand new program by the creators of Zumba. It is a music, movement and dance class for children 0-3 year old and a parent/carer.
The Zumbini™ program is a child-focused journey into the world of music, movement, and dance and the natural response music provokes in both children and adults. A Zumbini™ class is a celebration of the power of music to enhance our lives, stimulate learning, inspire dance and movement, and strengthen the bond between parent and child. We recognize the inherent value of learning music and movement for its own sake and we celebrate all levels of participation: exposure, rapt observation, primitive sound/motion production. The Zumbini™ program draws upon the natural link between music and movement.
Zumbini™ classes offer dance ‘n’ play movement, fun props and percussion instruments. Participants enjoy cool Zumba® music packed with world rhythms and catchy, child-friendly tunes created just for this program.

Cost: £54. The price includes a Zumbini bundle with 2 CDs of the music used during the classes and a songbook that has all the lyrics from the music CD and a story to read with your child along with tips for carers and parents.

My name is Zaira Lopez and I am a licensed Zumba and Zumbini instructor as well as a Pilates and dance teacher, specialist in prenatal and postpartum exercise. I have more than 15 years experience in teaching dance and exercise to mothers and babies and I have taught many program over the years. The Zumbini program is different and refreshing and, like Zumba, it leaves you energized and makes parents and children smile!
