N75 night bus withdrawn

You may have noticed that the number 75 night bus route has now been withdrawn. The last bus is now 01.25am from Croydon to Lewisham and 01.05am from Lewisham to Croydon. The route now resumes at 4am.

The reason the night service was axed is that less than 100 people in total were using the service in both direction between 1am and 4am each weekday. LT has therefore withdrawn the service to provide more frequent services on this route in the evening and during Sunday shopping hours.

Oh my goodness, how can they do this to me, the amount of money that bus has saved me in taxi fares from croydon is un real!!

I can't believe it, really I can't. I feel 100 times safer when I am drunkenly on the 75 then I would taking my chances in some of them taxis!!

I am truely heartbroken!!
