There are only four days until the sixth annual Sydenham Arts Festival, which runs for 16 days and features some of the best in music, theatre, comedy and spoken word.

Don’t miss Honest, DC Moore’s “mordantly funny” (The Guardian) play which will take you on a journey across London exploring the lies we tell ourselves and each other. Four performances, one with a post-show talk (suitable for 16+), Sunday 6 July to Friday 11 July.

Eavesdrop on imaginary lives between Crystal Palace to Sainsburys Bell Green and back with the 202x12: Theatre on a Bus Sunday 13 July 2-5pm.

Help celebrate new writing with Stage Write: Playwriting Showcase, on Monday 14 July, where previously shortlisted scripts, that have been developed under guidance by an experienced script writer, are presented to an audience.

If you fancy something very different - a mix of stand-up, storytelling and physical theatre for example, make sure you get tickets for Ros Parker’s one-woman cabaret-style Wonky Shonky Show on Tuesday 15 July and Friday 18 July.

Our Edinburgh Festival Previews once again feature some of Britain’s top comics - Holly Walsh (various BBC shows including Mock the Week and the Now Show) and Lucy Porter (“fizzing...one-liners” - The Herald) on Sunday 6 July. Patrick Monahan (Show Me the Funny winner) and Tom Craine (BBC 3’s Good News star) on Sunday 13 July and Joey Page (“abstract comedy” - The Observer) and Paul F Taylor (winner of New Act of The Year Competition 2013) on Sunday 20 July.

And travel back to 1916 with Till the Boys Come Home community musical in four parts on Sunday, July 6, Saturday July 12, Wednesday 16 and Thursday 17 July and Saturday 19 July.
