Hi

Does anyone know anything about 'Fig & Pistachio" which is opening soon on Kirkdale opposite The Woodman?

Thanks

Never heard of it! Unless it's gonna be the name of the new coffee shop/wine at/craft beer place at 161 (not really opposite woodman), not a clue. Sounds exciting though - any further info on it/how you heard of it David?

An Isabelle Robbiliard (not sure of spelling) has recently registered a company called Fig & Pistachio Ltd at 101 Kirkdale.
Fingers crossed. Sounds yummy.

No nowt about it other than I saw a sign in the window. Hoping it might be a coffee shop and praying it is not an elaborate name for a pay day loan establishment or good exchange :-)

Isabelle is lovely and I'm confident this will be a place well worth visiting. I spoke to her this morning and she said she anticipates that the place will open in two weeks to maybe a month/6 weeks.

The very best of luck. An interesting name….. Sounds like a rather exotic ice cream….. Onwards and upwards for Kirkdale….

Walked past this today and it says it will be open on Tuesday. Looks promising...but why a French bakery and now deli in Kirkdale? I quite like the bakery but wish it did more artisan breads and a wider range and their cakes are all very similar on a theme.

Yeah, really good questions. Why is the French football team on my TV as well... winning.....

My reptilian hind brain has spotted a pattern.

Zut alors.

Opening tomorrow!

I gather they are thinking of being open from 8.30 to 5.30 weekdays and unsure bout if same on just sat or both sat and sun.

They seem to have been putting in a tremendous amount of effort to get it going in a short time (I've seen people working away late at nights and most of the weekend when the sun has been shining!) and looks lovely from passing.

Nice place. Nicely decorated. Lovely bread, pastries etc and the madeleines i bought today for a pound each were divine. I wish them all the best!

Lovely place, great addition to kirkdale. Even better if they had cheeses and meat too, lovely bread and cakes though.

This place looks amazing, by far the best looking shop in Kirkdale... Hope others take note of what can be achieved. Can't wait to check it out properly soon.
