When I was walking home today I just had to stop a take a picture of this fellow feeding the birds just off Sydenham High Street. It's scenes like this that put a smile on your face.
It's a lovely photo of human kindness, but unfortunately these birds carry a terrible lung disease,
i'd rather see the Robins, Blue Tits etc get fed as their natural food supplies dry up over winter.
Unfortunately he has been feeding the Pidgeons for years and even has them in his house. Eekk
He used to feed them outside his house until the neighbours complained
Sean I love your picture it really made me and my daughter smile. I always feel sorry for pigeons, I`m glad they are being looked after in Sydenham High Street.
