I say pull the lot down. Why oh why do people want this rotton old shack to stay up anyway. The pub was as rough as Lizzie Bardsley and just attracted the Hazelwell crowd: bin it!

What better than a lovely block of flats with shop units underneath. Imagine a pizza hut, Iceland and perhaps a Peacocks on Cobbs corner. Wonderful.

all you people who want the Grayhound to re-open as public house are all off your heads, I have lived across from the old Grayhound pub for 10 years and in my opinion it was the hub for most of the troubles caused in the area, I have seen numerous drugs deals going down in and around the premises a few month a ago another drugs deal went wrong and guns were produced and five shots rangout as my 3 year old son lay in his bed and was woken by the bangs. Many times ive had to call the pub and tell the management to get a grip of their punters and remove beer glasses from the roofs of cars, drunks walking up and down Spring Hill still with their beer glasses in their hands, pub goers jumping the chain fence surrounding the outside table area and then running over the bonnets and roofs of the cars parked in Spring Hill. It was also a hotspot for underaged drinking, trust me the best thing for the immediate area was when the pub closed down and I hope i never see it returned to a pub lic house ever again.

So why was this pub so bad and others not?

Why did it attract these sorts of customers?

A well run pub shouldn't be any problem. Obviously it wasn't well run before.
