The group of Perry Hill Farm buildings in the 1914 Ordnance Survey map appears to match the group in the earlier 1863 map, therefore, Darrell Spurgeon, in his book Discover Sydenham and Catford cannot be right about 145 Perry Hill being "a late 19th century house"; firstly, it's too big to be any of the buildings on the maps; secondly, no new buildings were constructed around that plot between the mid-19th and early 20th centuries. Is 145 Perry Hill a fairly recent building from perhaps the 1920s to 1940s? I've not currently got access to later maps published after 1914.
John Coulter, in his book Sydenham and Forest Hill Past, seems to make another false statement about 145 Perry Hill being the last farmhouse of Perry Hill Farm; could John be mixed up with 143 Perry Hill, which Darren more plausibly states is the remaining Perry Hill farmhouse?
Is Swanley an AKA for 143 or 145 Perry Hill? Was an "Albert Cottage" ever part of Perry Hill Farm?
