East London Line

Post by poppy »

I could not find the recent thread on this but thought it was important to get this up. There is a campaign to ensure our current train service is not cut back because of the new line. One of the arguments is that the trains are already packed and if they are reduced at all it will be chaos (as well as it not making much sense to reduce such a brilliant service used by the majority). Just thought I should say that yesterday as I was getting off the 8.06am train at London Bridge I overheard some people talking about someone who had just fainted in their carriage and they said it happened the day before too. This is one very good indication of how busy the line is and why the service we have should to stay!

It is here: http://sydenham.org.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=828

Please read it before commenting here. As it is an old and long thread I have locked it so we don't get two active threads on the same subject at the same time.
