Is the water park working at Wells Pk?

Fantastic when it's working, does anyone know if the water park is currently operational at Wells Park?
Also what else is there? Café? Toilets?

It was working when I went two weeks ago, my kids loved it. Used the toilets too, I didn't spot a cafe but I didn't look for one.

No cafe, toilets open when park keeper in attendance. Park is fantastic but somewhat abandoned. Need to have a park keeper there more often, specially in this warm weather. Don't know what time it closes but one evening last nigh jollifications until 10.30ish,then in the morning empty bottles lined up, vodka,moet wkd and lots of little metal type cannisters.

Also the lake needs cleaning desperately green scum on top, smelly!!!!!

They are gas cannisters and the kids get high on the gas. They blow up balloons with the gas then suck the gas from the balloon.

OK you're putting me off now...... I heard it is a fab park and the water feature great for the kids.
Just needs a good café and that's the whole package......anyone heard about plans to re-develop the park????

Just had a lovely all age picnic at Sydenham Wells Park on Saturday afternoon.
Am pleased to report the park is looking great, the park keeper was there, the toilet block was open and everything working like clockwork!
The water feature was working and even though the weather was typically windy and overcast we had a lovely time.
More picnics to come I feel.
