Powercut help line called back expected time to fix is 10:30

Up on Mayow Road it cut out for just a few seconds - there was a distinct 'boom' and the lights flickered. Glad to know it was something external as my coffee machine was grinding beans at the time and I thought the motor had got overloaded. Now that would be a problem.

Hope you've all got your power back now.

My flat up near Syd station / Silverdale area was without power for only a few minutes at around 08:30
