Quite like the article calling it Sydenham village. Think it has a nice ring to it and makes u think leafy which sydenham definately is.
Unsurprisingly under the downsides the high street & lack of restaurants comes up. Hopefully this will soon change with the Portas pilot ideas happening in the next few months!

Hmm. An interesting article, until the last line anyway. 'You don't go to Sydenham for its cultural ferment'?

I prefer Mid Syd, biscuitman.
Probably won't take off any more than the attempted rebranding of South Bermondsey as SoBo, though.
