Artists' Open House

Although it is part of the Dulwich Festival, the Open House includes some in SE26, goes west to West Norwood and up to Peckham. I'd say there would be something for most people's taste. It is great to see so much talent locally and to get to speak to the people behind it. We did a fair bit of walking around yesterday on visits and discovered new places too. And at least one local artist, Lisa Muten, was exhibiting there this weekend.

We met Joyce Treasure, the Sydenham artist whose work is on the street hoardings in Kirkdale, in one of the houses in Court Lane where she was exhibiting. She was telling us that she has also contributed to the 'street art' house on Lordship Lane that's going to be demolished. Temporary art! Going to try and see that this weekend.
