Roman blind fitters

Post by Bobsy »

Have had roman blinds made to fit a bay window and have had a quote of £90 to have them fitted. Having paid to have the curtains made not keen to pay out that much to have them fitted too. Perhaps I am being completely unrealistic however. Can anyone recommend a good fitter who might charge less than this?

I think you are being unrealistic.

I put up my own blinds and the other half has to warn people when they stay over not to touch them.
The fitting of them is almost certainly as much of an art as making them.

You could try and ask April Blinds (www.aprilblinds.com). They have a brilliant customer service, although they do offer the whole service - design, make & free fitting, (for their orders).

I can't recommend them highly enough.... and they're a local friendly husband/wife business.

House of Curtains might be able to recommend a fitter - failing that, Mike (the owner) is very good at advice for the DIY-minded!
