Re: 5-a-side footie
I think Swartie is doubtful for tonight, so if Darren comes along we'll have 6 v 6 which is perfect.

Re: 5-a-side footie
If numbers continue as they have been might be worth exploring the 7s? Yes...he's banging that drum again!
I checked on tonight and they only have 7.30/9.30 free. But if the numbers hold up then I'd be keen play on the 7s again after half term...

Yes, definitely. Keen to get back to the 7s. Will have to ask about availability but need to guarantee the numbers.
Re: 5-a-side footie
Perhaps we shoukd keep an eye out for when that pitch empties and then move over. Get the legs really working for a bit!!

Re: 5-a-side footie
Yes, could do - especially if we get 13. Save someone standing around in the cold.
Re: 5-a-side footie
After all my usual pontificating about the 7s and improved track record I regrettably am crying off. I have had two deaths in the [not quite] immediate family this PM...
I will still 100% pay my subs next week - for this -but think it best I do not let my aggression out on a football pitch; it might be misplaced.

Thanks Gents,
They say bad luck comes in threes so whilst dealing with the inevitable £££ travel arrangements I am like a cat on a hot tin roof when the 'phone goes - lest it be more bad news!

5-a-side footie
Another good game last night. Well done to JoeP for picking two reasonably evenly matched teams - not an easy task with so many new players.
In for next week.
In for next week.

Thanks Lem; got a bit lucky but should be easier over the coming weeks if the new guys become regulars.biscuitman1978 wrote:Another good game last night. Well done to JoeP for picking two reasonably evenly matched teams - not an easy task with so many new players.

I'm in for Wednesday - only 3 of us so far, need a few more...
