So I can't post the following train cancellations on 21st Jan 2013
London Bridge to West Croydon services departing at 16.36, 17.05, 17.36, 18.06, 18.36
This will leave a 30 minute service, so best to take the overground.
Probably just pre-mod, Michael. Are you a pre-mod virgin? It means your post will appear eventually, subject to admin's approval. I got an email notification that you had posted to that thread, so you've not been banned. Yet.

Trains cancelled in the next hour in pre-mod - that doesn't seem very sensible. Still, not my loss - it is the people of Forest Hill that admin is making suffer! They will just have to get their information through other channels.
The problem with pre-mod is that it is automated so (I assume) admin will get a notification of what's in pre-mod from the system and review them. If he's not at his SE23.com desk, you never know when they will (or won't) get passed as safe.
So this is where the se23.com underground really is!
Have been driven here by an Admin, who no doubt means well, but is seemingly more influenced by Ceausescu than any other known forum ethos I've known (e.g. Deleted Posts thread and many others stretching back years). I do realise that it is a thankless task but not allowing any discussion of how a community forum should run is the final straw for me. We need a forum for the community - it is currently, in some aspects, a negative force right now IMO.
I had to chuckle re Rachael's observation about getting email notification before posts have been moderated. Just seems to me symptomatic of the dysfunctional nature of the site.
I now find I can't open (let alone log on to) SE23.com. A box of a kind I've never seen before pops up, headed 'Windows security' and asking me for my user name and password. A message then appears saying 'You do not have permission to view this directory or page due to the access control list (ACL) that is configured for this resource on the Web server.'
Is this pukka, does anyone know? Past experience has led me to be cautious about pop-ups claiming to be from 'Windows security'.
It's just a bug - SE23.com Admin is aware and working in a fix. Suspect he was fiddling with the forum over the weekend and inadvertently buggered something up.
I trying to stop myself saying 'good luck Admin'. Especially as its a Windows server up the creek. You may, or may not, be delighted to hear this forum, like most others, runs under Linux (or Centos to be more precise).
I can guarantee a different error page here
Don't worry Robin its a perfectly standard box and no you shouldn't try and put anything in because it is protecting the server pages and is not related in any way to your personal forum account at SE23.COM.
