It seems well used and the courts seem to be in good condition. My nephew did 2 weeks of tennis activities there last summer holidays and loved it!

I can't recommend this club enough. I joined a year or so after moving to the area and haven't looked back. I wanted to exercise and get fitter but it has brought so much more. It is a very friendly club and you can play at all levels. There are lessons for beginners or as a gentle entry to the club. Then there are 'clubplay' nights where you just turn up and play various different doubles games with whoever is there. it's organised for you so you just have to turn up with racket and shoes! There are leagues and tournaments too but you do'nt have to be a pro to play. There is a range of levels and it means you meet so many people, and if you want to play during the week you can usually find someone to play with. Most of all they don't look down their noses if you're not a pro and don't dress in all whites! But on the otherhand there are many good players there who have the facilities to play competitively. It's very very nice. Hope this is helpful.
