I've also voted but it does seem a little questionable what we are actually voting for. After some time following links from one website to another it appears that the vote is primarily to attract interest in the playing fields and is not expected to be part of a elimination contest between local parks.

The decision is about which playing fields should be included in the 1,500 that will be assigned trust status for the golden jubilee, but there is nothing about counting the votes and using this as the primary basis for awarding trust status. I also don't see new funds becoming available when the parks achieve trust status.

I don't really like voting when it makes absolutely no difference (even less than in the parliamentary system) and think this type of fake vote should not be encouraged. Perhaps somebody can explain what difference my vote will really make to Home Park?
