How to get to Earls Court undderground station from sydenham

Post by mrtimelover »

Hello,

I don't use trains much and am pretty much a novice when it comes to travelling by train/tube etc. Please can you help me and tell me how I can get to Earls Court underground station? I need to get there on Saturday as I am going to Eurogamer at Earls Court.

Thanks

Could be Syd to Victoria via CPalace, then Tube.

I would do Syd to Jubilee line (either Canada Water or London Bridge), Jubilee to Westminster, District to Earls Court. :D

Syd to Whitecapel on Overground then district line to Earls Court. Technically a longer journey than using Jubilee to Westminster but actually works out about the same because the interchange at Westminster takes a long time and the one at Whitechapel takes about 30 secs.

I think the quickest+cheapest route (zones 2-3) is train to Clapham Junction, then switch to overground/train to West Brompton.

I used to work at Earls Court. Got train from Penge East to Victoria then District Line straight there. If you time the trains correctly your journey wont take more than half an hour.
