Hmm, all quite interesting. The London proposals report is at:

Worth noting that:

Most of you will be in the new constituency of Dulwich and Sydenham - see link to map - taking in parts of both Lewisham and Southwark council areas. This is official recognition of Sydenham's move up in the world (!) - not sure which party this would favour.

Clock House, Crystal Palace and Penge & Cator words will move from Lewisham West and Penge to Beckenham constituency (which should reduce the conservative majority).

The rest of Lewisham gets put into a new Lewisham and Catford constituency.

Some of my fellow Dulwich'ites are choking on their lattes at the fact that Jim could be our joint local MP replacing north London Tessa.

Hopefully Jim Dowd will go and Labour will transfer a good local girl (Rachel Reeves) who is currently a MP for Leeds West back to her roots!

Clock House, Crystal Palace and Penge & Cator wards were in Beckenham constituency until the last election when they moved into Lewisham West so it'd be a case of Business as Usual there. Surprisingly I don't think it made any difference and the Tories always had a healthy majority.

Please can we have anyone except Tessa "irritable" Jowel as our MP?
I think I may have to move if she becomes our MP.

I just moved from Camberwell to Sydenham and one of the best side-effects was that Harriet Harman is no longer my MP! If she follows me here I may cry!

Don't you mean skinny lattes?

Tessa Jowell represents her constituents very well from my own experience - very hands on.
