Did you get Olympic tickets?

Me neither. What if Sydenham held an Alternative Olympics next year, maybe as part of the Sydenham Festival? It could be in a park maybe Mayow as they have Bowls, Cricket, Tennis,Table Tennis but other events could be egg & Spoon , sack race, welly throwing etc.

Mrs R got tickets to the badminton, but it's in Wembley, so we won't get access to the Olympic Site. We do get a one day travel card included in the price of the ticket though, which is useful, and as I work for London borough of Hackney (one of the 5 host boroughs), I should be able to get entry to something (probably last minute, under subscribed).

I'd be interested in a Sydenham Olympic event, maybe not as part of the Arts Festival though.

Not wanting to be smug but I applied at the last minute for 100m finals tickets and nothing else just so I could whinge because I'm a Londoner and didn't get any tickets even though my council tax paid for the games.

I got them.
