Festive Lights and Decorations

I thought I would get this on the board early. Will the Christmas tree and lamp post decorations be even better than last year, can they beat 8 post decorations down a third of the high street and lights that work on the tree for just a day or two!!? Or will savage spending cuts disrupt the magnificent display this time? Maybe Southern Gas Networks can set up a giant Nativity scene made out of plastic pipes, cones and metal fencing with Morrisons workers on their teabreaks posing as biblical characters.

How long have we had those lights? It must be at least ten years. My favourite is the one near the post office that faces the wrong way. I'd rather have no lights than that depressing display.
