Eliot Bank School

Does anyone have any idea as to what year Eliot Bank School was built or opened?
As a member of The Eliot Bank School Association, we are desperate to find out, as we believe it was built in 1955, making this its 50th birthdayIf this is so, we would like to celebrate this in some way.
We have tried Lewisham Council / Town Hall, who don't seem to have any idea!
Perhaps someone, somewhere has some photos of Thorpewood Avenue / Top of Kirkdale from around this time?
Any info would be great

Incidentally, I do know that Rolf Harris' daughter Bindi went there in the early 1970s. He lived, I believe, in Border Road
