Dacres Wood - this weekends walk.

We are going to have to postpone the Dacres Wood element of this weekends walk.

I have had a conversation on the 'phone with the chap in charge of the site and I believe it best if we do not visit Dacres Wood, for now. Let me be clear, he was more than accommodating but explained that the site has been...'compromised' by some of our friendly feral teenagers (my prejudicial assumption, not his). Nick (aforementioned chap) has some funds to bring it up to scratch but I agreed with him that we would give the site time for nature to regain a footing.

In short, let's leave it? Wouldn't we rather see Dacres Wood in all it's finery? For what it's worth I have offered to help with some of the 'recovery' work and then, hopefully we can enjoy this haven of tranquility come the New Year.

Is that OK? Falkor, Juwlz, Leaf, Illuminance, Pat et al?
