Free compost Bin and Water Butt

Hi, Does anyone know if I can get either of these items free of charge from anywhere?

HI lbere - you can try contacting Lewisham council, best would be to look up the Lewisham website for their environmental services and to email them with your request. The bins were free at one stage but I'm not sure if they still are. Good luck.

I enquired at the council about a year ago for a free composter, and was told they only offered discounts, not free ones. Freebies now? I reckon you'd be lucky with all the cuts in the pipeline.

Hi I have been given 6 free compost bins 2 weeks ago. Someone form lewisham recycle came to our door asking if we would like some and how many.

I did ask for a waterbutt too but he said ask Refuse

Just got an email from Recycle@lewisham, they do infact provide free compost bins.

Just waiting for it to be delivered.
